Welcome to Cool Cyber Safety Lessons!

Lessons That Will Keep Your Students Interested and Give Them Tools to Stay Safe Online

The Cyber Safety Lessons presented here were developed by the teacher-librarians in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District to be taught in conjunction with the fall library orientation that is given to all freshman students. This wiki was created by Traci Melly, teacher-librarian at La Habra High School, and Diana Jacobson, teacher-librarian at Sonora High School, as a means of offering access to the lessons, including lesson plans and material used in the lessons, to the attendees of the 2009 California School Library Association conference.

You are invited to adapt these materials as needed to suit the needs of your own student body. Any questions or feedback may be directed to Marie Slim at mslim@fjuhsd.net

If you decide to use the lessons in some form, we would love to hear the results.
